aka... a few of our recent favorites!

Kyle Angelina

It was the perfect autumn day for this perfect outdoor fall wedding. The beautiful golden yellow and orange leaves made the best photography backdrop for this chic backyard wedding ceremony held at the grooms family home in Grande Prairie, Alberta. We first met Kyle and Angelina last year when we were photographers for Kyles brothers awesome wedding also in Grande Prairie. Angelina was an absolutely stunning bride, and both she and Kyle were a pleasure to photograph. Their fun photography session included a super cool graffiti wall, a romantic walk in a forest covered in a bed of autumn leaves, and a classic stretch limo complete with Texas longhorns. This was definitely one of our favorite Grande Prairie weddings to photograph. Congrats Kyle and Angelina on an absolutely beautiful wedding.

Coyne Naomi

Coyne & Noami chose Tupper Community Hall between Dawson Creek and Grande Prairie as the location for their truly unique wedding. We loved that this fun-loving couple chose a superhero theme for their special day. The groomsmen all wore their favorite superhero t-shirts and socks under their wedding suits, and the bride wore her cool and super comfy converse running shoes as part of her wedding attire. Another great fall wedding in the beautiful Peace River region.

Dania Juan

We were happy to have Punta Salinas on the tropical island of the Dominican Republic as the beautiful location for this destination wedding photography session. This secluded beach on the island’s south may not have the white sand beaches and aqua blue water of Punta Cana, but it definitely has its own unique beauty and tropical island charm. As photographers, there is nothing better than taking pictures of a couple truly in love, and Dania and Juan Edwardo were so incredibly cute together on their wedding day. They drew messages in the sand, ran hand in hand down the beach together, snuggled in the shade of the blowing palm trees and truly knew how to make each other laugh. The wedding reception included dancing to typical Spanish music like salsa, merengue and bachata. A highlight was a traditional Dominican dance performed by 6 señoritas in beautiful island style dresses and tropical flowers in their hair. The Dominican Republic is a destination wedding photographers dream.

George Angela

The wet weather and the collapse of one of their big white wedding tents didn’t dampen the spirits of this happy couple from Chetwynd, BC. Their ceremony was held at a beautiful location overlooking Moberly Lake. Before they said I do, the couple snuck a moment together while the groom was blindfolded. Their two girls stole the show in their adorable white dresses full of tooling. There were a lot of laughs with their fun bridal party during the photography session, and a little rain made for some great umbrella photos.

Shawn Hallie

These two high school sweethearts chose to get married in the warm ocean breezes of the Caribbean. Their destination wedding was held on the beautiful white sand beaches of Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Once home in Chetwynd BC, they had a lovely rustic chic wedding reception where they showed photos from the Dominican wedding and a beautiful wedding video. One of our favorite parts of the day was the smoke show in their 69 camaro and the beautiful views on Moberly Lake. The night was filled with laughter as guests rode the mechanical bull, pulled their best faces in the fun photo booth and danced to the music of the incredible live band. A great night was had by all.

Cody Lorene

This great couple from Fort St John (BC) and Grande Prairie (AB) made our job as photographers such a pleasure. Family and friends came from all over the Peace River region to show their love for Cody & Lorene and share in the happiness of their wedding day. The first dance was extra special because the bride's mom played their song on the piano as a family friend sang to the beautiful couple. The awesome effects of the changing lights made for a truly romantic feel on the dance floor. Congratulations, you guys are the best! Have a wonderful forever!

Derek Lesley

It was a perfect, sunny August day for this backyard country wedding in Baytree, Alberta located just outside of Dawson Creek, BC. Fitting perfectly to the rustic chic theme, the ceremony guests sat on square hay bales as they watched the couple say I do. The unique wedding theme was music, and even the groomsmens boutonnieres were handmade from musical note paper. A favorite moment was when Derek serenaded his beautiful bride with his acoustic guitar during the photography session. The bridal party were a great group of friends that knew how to have fun together, and the royal blue bridesmaids dresses looked stunning against the bright green grass. The down pour of rain that came just in time for the reception made for a memorable night under the big wedding tents.

Mark Jessica

The Dunes golf club in Grande Prairie, AB was the location for Jessica & Mark’s beautiful wedding ceremony and reception. Jessica got teary-eyed when her dad first saw her in her dress and helped her out to the car. The outdoor ceremony at the golf course was moved inside when the rain started pouring down, but wet weather didn’t dampen the bride and groom’s happy day. With the help of a lot of umbrellas, the bridal party had some fun in the rain during their photography session. The couples 2 sons were the cutest ring bearers.

Tyler Rachel

The boys started the day with an old fashioned hot shave at Tommy Guns barber shop, while the bride and her girls were pampered at Bliss spa & salon. The wedding party had the best time riding around Grande Prairie in the coolest stretch hummer limousine as we captured the fun. There were many great lifestyle moments to photograph at the beautiful wedding ceremony... including dads last minute advice to the bride and the grooms emotional reaction as she walked down the aisle. At their reception in Wembley AB, guests spun the wheel-of-fun throughout the night, with 'prizes' like: start a congo line, do the birdie dance, or sing a song to the newlyweds. A great time was had by all.
Baseballers Fort St. John wedding

Clayton Melissa

Clayton & Melissa chose to have their photography done before the wedding ceremony, and it was a good thing they did as it was an extremely windy afternoon in Fort St John, BC. Along with family and friends, the couple had their entire baseball team cheering for them as they said I do. The wedding and reception were held in Taylor BC right behind the baseball diamond where they spend so much of their time. Thank you for choosing us as to capture your special day. We had the best time.

Sean Caitlyn

We first met Caitlyn at the FSJ bridal show and were so happy to be her photographers for their beautiful Dawson Creek wedding. There were some great candid moments at this wedding, like when their little nephew stole the show as he pushed the girls aside to dash down the aisle as ring bearer. The wedding reception was held in big white tents at the bride's parent's country home, which had a real rustic, chic feel. A great wedding and a great couple!

Lance Ashley

Lance and Ashley had an elegant wedding ceremony in beautiful Charlie Lake, B.C. The cloudless blue sky made the lake a great location for photos. The glamorous wedding reception was held at the historic Lido Theatre in Fort St. John, BC. The always changing lighting effects made for some romantic candid photos. A truly unique and beautiful wedding.
