This great couple from Fort St John British Columbia and Grande Prairie Alberta made our job as photographers such a pleasure. Family and friends came from all over the Peace River region to show their love for Cody & Lorene and share in the happiness of their wedding day. The first dance was extra special because the bride's mom played their song on the piano as a family friend sang to the beautiful couple. The awesome effects of the changing lights made for a truly romantic feel on the dance floor. Another memorable moment at the wedding reception was when the bride's father pulled out his famous hand stand moves on the dance floor. Congratulations, you guys are the best! Have a wonderful forever! Don't forget to check out our FULL WEDDING gallery here!
These two high school sweethearts chose to get married in the warm ocean breezes of the Caribbean. Their destination wedding was held on the beautiful white sand beaches of Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Once home in Chetwynd British Columbia, they had a lovely rustic chic wedding reception where they showed photos from the Dominican wedding and a beautiful wedding video. We enjoyed capturing candid moments of both parents and grandparents as they laughed and cried while watching the tropical wedding video. The best part of the day for us photographers was the smoke show in the grooms 69 camero and the beautiful views on Moberly Lake. The night was filled with laughter as guests rode the mechanical bull, pulled their best faces in the fun photo booth and danced to the music of the incredible live band. A great night was had by all.
Nothing better than an intimate backyard wedding on a beautiful sunny summer day. Matz and Heather chose to get married at their country home just outside of Fairview, AB. Their rustic county theme made for a great photography session. The couple even had a romantic dance in the back of the groom's pickup truck. On this surprisingly hot summer day for northern Alberta, the canola was in bloom and the smell of home cooked Ukrainian food was in the air. Family and friends had a wonderful time and so did us photographers. Congratulations Matz and Heather.
It was a joy to photograph this newly engaged couple in Dawson Creek, BC. During their photo session, it was clear they love each other and love to have fun together. We can't wait to photograph their destination wedding in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic this winter. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! We will see you in the caribbean sun soon :-)
Darin & Trisha chose the Grande Prairie Alberta Art Gallery as the venue for their unique wedding ceremony. As photographers, we loved this historic building. The antique brick exteriors and modern interiors made for some awesome wedding photography. It was a pleasure to work this couple on their special day, as we had met them last year when we photographed the bride's sister's wedding. The bridal party had the best time riding around Grande Prairie in a cool H2 Hummer Limousine, and as the day was ending, all were surprised to see the groom reveal his superhero identity. Congrats guys!
For the groom and his boys the day started off with an old fashioned hot shave at Tommy Guns barber shop, while the bride and her girls were pampered at Bliss spa & salon. The wedding party had the best time riding around Grande Prairie in the coolest stretch hummer limousine, and us photographers enjoyed capturing the fun. There were many great lifestyle moments to photograph at the beautiful wedding ceremony… including dads last minute advice to the bride and the grooms emotional reaction as she walked down the isle. For the reception, the bride said she wanted lots of purple, lots of silver and lots of bling, and she got it. Guests had the best time spinning the wheel-of-fun throughout the night, which meant having to do things like start a congo line, do the birdie dance, or sing a song to the newlyweds. A great time was had by all.
The grooms broken collar bone and the pouring rain during their outdoor ceremony didn't dampen the spirits of this fun-loving couple from Grande Prairie, AB on their special day. This enthusiastic, energetic bride was truly beautiful inside and out. Their wedding at the brides beautiful family home in Chetwynd, BC was filled with tears of joy and a lot of laughter. There were so many awesome moments throughout the day that capturing candids was almost too easy with this cheerful couple. It was truly a joy to photograph you two!
It was constant smiles for these two on their sunny wedding day in Fort St John, BC. This Edmonton couple wanted to come home to share their happy day with family and friends. And why not when you have such a beautiful location like the one they chose right on the lake. Photographing you two was a blast from start to finish!
Jamie & Joshua were all smiles from start to finish of their beautiful wedding day in Fort St John, BC. We have the best time as wedding photographers when we can photograph a couple as clearly in love as these two, and capture their excitement to say 'I do'. The brides handmade cherry blossom trees were the perfect pink accents for this beautiful backyard setting, and the matching pink parasols provided some much needed shade on this sunny Fort St John wedding day. The sun glistening through the trees and the light breeze catching Jamie's flowing veil made for some great shots. We had the best time with this amazing couple and their super fun bridal party as they cruised around in their great big dual-ie diesel trucks. Truly a memorable wedding!
Rustic, shic and antique was the theme of this Prince George, BC wedding. The brides vintage wedding dress, and her fathers collectors edition mustang made for some great photography. It was so clear that these two love their families and love each other. Their family and friends had a blast with costumes and props in their awesome photo booth. Congrats on a beautiful wedding...we absolutely loved photographing you two!!!
Now here is a Bridal party that love to have fun! This bride & groom chose to have their wedding right at home near Dawson Creek, BC, just across the Alberta border. What is better than tying the knot in your own yard, surrounded by awesome friends and family. Blue sky, hot sun, great friends and lots of fun summed up this photography day. Thanks for including us in your special day!
It was so nice to be able to work with this lovely bride, after meeting her while shooting her brothers wedding the previous year. Old barns, old trucks and beautiful fields surrounded this couples country wedding. They chose to get married at the family farm in Dawson Creek, BC where they felt right at home. From the ring-bearer who spontaneously broke into dance down the aisle, to the tin cans behind the old Chev, every last detail was picture perfect. This cheery couple from Edmonton, AB were truly a pleasure to photograph. All the best!!!
This Peacock themed wedding in Dawson Creek, BC felt like we were photographers back in the 1950's. From the classic 1957 chev car to the records and jukebox at the old fashioned diner in downtown Dawson Creek, this wedding was definitely original. It was so much fun to photograph this couple as they shared an ice-cream sundae and danced to the oldies. Congrats on a truly unique wedding!
It was a pleasure to photograph this beautiful wedding in Dawson Creek, BC. Childhood sweethearts Travis & Elita were smiling ear-to-ear when they finally sealed their love on their wedding day. Photographing them was such a joy on a special day that was filled with good friends and loving family. We wish you a lifetime of happiness!
A true 1950's love story. That is how we would sum up this awesome movie themed wedding. This fun-loving couple from Grande Prairie, AB and their wedding party were not only dressed to match their theme, but also had old cars and movie posters for their big day. It was a lot of fun to photograph this truly unique wedding. Thank you for choosing us as your photographers!
